Character Introduction
Mei Lin (5★ Passion · Striker) is a high-damage single-target DPS combatant in Chaos Zero Nightmare whose kit revolves around low-cost attack chains, Passion Weakness application, and Ember stacking. Her card pool includes fast, inexpensive attacks like Rising Dragon Spire and cost-reduction tools such as Unity of Attack and Defense that let her cycle hits rapidly while drawing and discounting cards. Many of her attacks apply Passion Weakness to enemies, increasing subsequent damage and enabling explosive scaling as she strings together multiple hits in a turn. These mechanics make her especially potent against bosses and high-health targets where sustained pressure and consistent damage output shine.
Her Ego Skill, Heavenly Flame Dragon, enhances her basic Attack cards by adding extra hits, greatly amplifying her burst potential during key moments. With the right card sequencing — often built around retaining embers and maximizing bonus hits from Spire and other passion cards — Mei Lin can deliver some of the game’s strongest single-target output. While she lacks natural AoE coverage, her efficiency, self-buffing tools, and self-draw capabilities make her a top tier DPS pick in most team compositions centered around high-frequency attacks and attack buffs.
