Weapons
Rune Lance — When using 5 or more Action Points, +25% Damage Amount , Shield gain, and Healing (1 time per battle).
- This is Magna's ultimate engine. Because it amplifies her total output by 25% across all actions, including her (up to) 10 Counterattacks per turn. Crucially, the 1.25x Shield Gain helps ensure enemies never break her guard, allowing her to stay in the 150% Counterattack bracket (Blocked) rather than dropping to 100%. This double-scaling makes it statistically unbeatable in long battles common to shielder team.
Obsidian Sword — Increase Damage Amount by 12%.
- A "safe" choice that offers a flat 12% final damage increase to everything. While reliable, it is mathematically inferior to the Rune Lance in every category.
Torch of Wrath — At the start of a turn, apply 2 Mark to a random enemy.
- This equipment pivots Magna into a support role. Mark allows teammates to deal extra Attack-based damage and Tenacity damage. However, because Magna focuses on stacking Defense to hit her 350 DEF node, her own Attack stat is too low to make personal use of the Mark. Used purely for supporting your Main-DPS.
Armors
Immortal Scale — When gaining Counterattack via an ability, +1 additional Counterattack.
- This is Magna's definitive BiS. Since she generates 1 stack per shield gain, this item turns every shield card into a +2-stack generator. For high-frequency cards like Ice Fragment E1 (which triggers at turn start), you generate a massive surplus of stacks, ensuring your Absolute Zero Ego Skill always reaches its maximum multiplier and you never run out of "ammo" during the enemy phase.
Lush Seaweed Armor — When gaining Shield, gain 30% Fixed Shield.
- This triggers a "Double-Dip" mechanic. Because Magna gains a Counterattack stack whenever she gains a shield, the 30% Fixed Shield proc from this armor counts as a separate shield event. This effectively doubles her stack generation (similar to Immortal Scale) while simultaneously increasing her total shield pool to maintain the 150% Full Block damage bonus of Counterattack.
Wild Fur Cloak / Growing Carapace / Gluttonous Tailcoat / Crustacean Fluider / Mask of Evil Spirits — 1 Counterattack per turn.
- These are basically provide 1 Counterattack per turn. Some of these are triggered per turn while the others are triggered via damage taken. They are listed left to right in order of frequency of trigger, most to least.
Wings of Freedom — When hit, +10% Damage Amount (Max 3 stacks).
- Counterattacks in Chaos Zero Nightmare generally cannot crit. Therefore, the "Damage Amount" multiplier is the most effective way to scale her damage. Since Magna's damage formula is heavily weighted toward Defense, a 30% multiplicative boost to that final number creates a massive damage ceiling that raw Attack or Defense stats cannot match. It is ranked lower than 1-counter per turn equipment as it doesn’t benefit the passive vulnerable generation on Magna’s Frost Charge E3. Ranked 3rd if Frost Charge E3 is not used.
Consecrated Halo — +25% Shield Gain
- Increment in shield gain. Boost survivability, nothing else.
Trinkets
Multifaceted Parallel Universe Nexus — At the start of turn, activate 1 random Lead card in hand.
- Resource Focused. Allows free casting of 1 Ice Fragment or Storm of the Bitter Cold per turn. This allows AP to be use mainly for shield or DPS alternatives.
Emblem of an Exceptional Entity — +30% Damage Amount. Stress received becomes 0 (1 for each battle).
- Damage Focused. Trinket equivalent of Wings of Freedom. Multiplicative boost on her counterattacks damage beyond that provided by additional attack and defense.
Dormant Seeds / Guardian Core / Eternal Stone — Shield generators (equivalent to ~1 counterattack per turn).
- Survivability Focused. Shield gain per turn with different triggers (on shield gain, on number of enemies, or with intent to attack). Listed based on shield strength from left to right, strong to weak.
Source of the Forbidden / Palasia's Orb / Corroded Core — Debuff generators (on-hit triggers).
- Support Focused. These options debuff the target(s) with different triggers (on-hit, on vulnerable). Listed left to right based on the frequency of debuff its usefulness.
