Hugo Overview & Build Tips
Hugo is a 5★ Order-attribute Ranger in Chaos Zero: Nightmare. His signature passive Commence the Hunt builds up stacks (up to 5) and triggers follow-up attacks when allied single-target Attack cards are used, making him a potent follow-up/sub-DPS rather than a pure main carry. Hugo’s kit rewards lineups that reliably generate single-target Attack plays (so his stored Hunt stacks are consumed), and he performs especially well with partners or teammates who produce frequent targeted attacks or enable stack generation. Recommended playstyles focus on stacking Commence the Hunt and pairing Hugo with units that trigger or benefit from his follow-up hits for consistent single-target burst.
