Galactic Disaster Season 1: Forbidden Catalyst — The Next Frontier

Protos, gear up — CZN’s first major seasonal overhaul is landing 2025/11/12 after maintenance, running through to 2026/01/13 (17:59 UTC). This is Galactic Disaster in full throttle: a new narrative arc, bold new gameplay, roguelike chaos zones, and rewards stacked to the rafters.
Key Season Rules
  • Only Save Data from the new Chaos Laboratory 0 can be used in all Galactic Disaster content.
  • Don’t worry — when the season ends, your Save Data won’t be deleted. It will be integrated into the permanent pool.
  • After the season: Seasonal chaos, cards and modes become part of the standard roster.
This means you’re not locked out — even if you join late, you’ll eventually gain access permanently.

Expanded Story Mode — Acts Unlocked Over Time

A brand-new story arc titled “Forbidden Catalyst” adds three acts over time — perfect for both narrative fans and completionists.
  • Act 1 – Unwelcome Visitor from Afar (available 11/12) — Unlocks at Captain Level 35
  • Act 2 – Seals and Forbidden (12/03) — Requires clearing Act 1 Episode 9 (“Joint Investigation Begins”)
  • Act 3 – Catalyst of Evolution (12/24) — Unlocks after Act 2 Episode 7 (“Approaching the Forbidden”)
Once the season ends, all chapters will be permanently added to the Story archive.

New Chaos Zone – Laboratory 0

Here’s your new roguelike sandbox: enter the unknown, grate your deck to a fine powder, and grab exclusive rewards.
  • Unlock Condition: Clear Act 1 Episode 9
  • Weekly progress resets; each week you earn rewards via your Weekly Score and Achievements.
  • Explore the mysterious ruins, earn Forbidden Cards, build a deck that leans into experimentation, and unlock new equipment.
  • This zone will eventually be part of the “Chaos Manifestation” & “Zero System”.

Pro Tip: Focus your Aether spend here early — the cards you get now give you unique deck-leverage that’ll carry past the season.

Supply Store Operation – Spend the Currency You Earn

Introducing Pure White Fragments, the new seasonal currency from Laboratory 0. Redeem them in the Supply Store for high-tier loot.
Sample items & limits:
  • Tear of God (once weekly, Free)
  • Signal Amplification Anchor ×1 (Pure White Fragment ×1500, 5 times)
  • Undetermined Ego Crystal ×1 (Pure White Fragment ×4000, once)
  • Premium Growth Stone ‹Order› ×1 (Pure White Fragment ×60, 20 times)
    • … and many more.
Store phases: 11/12, 12/03, 12/24, all until 01/13.

Reminder: Prioritize pulls and 5-star dupe; don’t burn fragments on filler items early.

Nebula Distortion – Bosses Revamped

Legacy bosses return — but they’ve been twisted by distortion.
  • Unlock Condition: Clear Laboratory 0
  • Schedule:
    • Kentris: 11/12 → 01/13
    • Family Head: 11/26 → 01/13
    • Sweet Dream: 12/10 → 01/13
Only basic or The Forbidden Catalyst Season save data works.
notion image
Tactical tip: These modes require minimal HP room for error — build decks that can handle big hits, or you’ll hit wipe-city fast.

The Great Rift – Score Attack Mode

Gear up, theorycrafters — this event is where spreadsheets meet sweat. Two teams, one brutal boss, limited turns, and maximum brain-melting strategy depth.
Event Timeline
  • Phase 1: 12/03 → 12/23
  • Phase 2: 12/24 → 01/13
Only Basic Save Data or The Forbidden Catalyst Season Save Data are valid — no shortcuts, no legacy cheese.
Expect leaderboards, high-pressure score brackets, and preview builds showcasing dual-team formations. Rewards stack cumulatively, so reruns = guaranteed value.
Bonus: Leaderboard lineups are publicly visible — perfect for reference builds, last-minute optimizations, or straight-up copy-tech when the boss hits like a truck.
Gamer Tip (Min-Maxer Mode): Treat this like your end-game lab. Fine-tune deck synergy, optimise partner interactions, prep auto-chains, analyze reference comps, and climb your way into the scoring elite.
